Floyd and Stella
You may be wondering why a couple named Jeff and
Donna would name their vacation rental Floyd and Stella's.
We bought a 98 year old house which was gutted and in need of a lot of
TLC. In the process of remodeling we were adding and
removing walls and on the wall which at one time was right above the
front door, under several layers of wood and wall paper, was written in
chalk, back in 1913, Floyd and Stella . We don't know who they were but
we thought it was very romantic that a record and a testament to their
love remained after all these years, so we named it in their honor.
Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Pagosa Springs is surrounded by the San Juan National Forest.
It sits at an altitude of around 7,000 ft, and with over 300 days
of sunshine a year there are outdoor activities you can enjoy in every
